This afternoon there were three juvenile Stilt Sandpipers on the creek on the east side of the Brock St. bridge in Whitby. Other shorebirds present were 9 Least Sandpipers, 3 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 4 Greater Yellowlegs, 4 Lesser Yellowlegs and 2 Semipalmated Plovers.
Directions: exit from the 401 at Brock St. in Whitby (exit #410). Go south on Brock St. to the bridge. You can park legally a couple hundred metres to the north.
