The last 3 mornings have been great for migrants up here in the hinterland ...
five sightings of Olive-sided Flycatcher in the last 28 hours involving 2-3 birds at least - hard to be sure how many as they all seem to look the same! also moving through in numbers ... Least & Great Crested Flycatchers, peewees and kingbirds Baltimore Orioles Bobolinks Canada, Wilson's Bay-breasted, Nashville, Cape May, Yellow and Pine Warblers Warbling and Red-eyed Vireos grackles, flickers, waxwings and robins are staging in good numbers many swallows have already gone through my bluebirds fledged their second brood ... what a great time of year but it goes fast so look outside before it's too late! nearest intersection Lakeridge and Reach Sts.
