I hope that this is an appropriate forum for this question, but I thought that this might be a good place to post the question and provide a challenge for someone to answer it:
Is the Common Loon the most widespread bird in Canada? I've looked at distribution maps for other species that might be likely candidates e.g. Spotted Sandpiper and Herring Gull, but they don't seem to be quite as widespread.
