Well today was the best day yet with many more arrivals. 2 Male Scarlet Tanagers stayed around all day and were 6 ft or lower several times allowing for great photos (except me). Warblers seen
Black and White (many) Magnolia (many) Chestnut Sided Yellow Rumped Nashville (several) Ovenbird(many) Blackburnian Black Throated Green Black Throated Blue Yellow Bay Breasted (heard only). Still no special warblers, like Canada, Golden Winged,or Wilson's that I know of. Other migrants Blue Gray Gnatcher's seemed to be everywhere. Orchard Oriole in the meadow. Field Sparrow still here. Northern Orioles have increased in numbers. Veery seen and photographed this morning. Eastern Phoebe Least Flycatcher Red Bellied Woodpecker Bobolinks in the meadow. Winter wren was in the brush pile at the south end.
