Hi there:

>From May 10-12, a group of 25 birders from the Macnamara Field Naturalists'
>Club surveyed both Prince Edward Point (May 10) and Presqu'ile
(May 11/12).

On May 10, while birding near Point Traverse, many of us in the group
experienced our first ever "fall-out" conditions which included
mind-numbingly-wonderful views of warblers right at eye level. Overall, an
excellent weekend with many memorable moments.

Of the 127 species of birds seen, some highlights include (not in taxonomic
order):

Prince Edward Point (May 10):

Blue-winged Warbler (1)
Wilson's Warbler (1)
Cape May Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Yellow-throated Vireo (1)
Scarlet Tanager

Presqu'ile (May 11/12):

Golden-winged Warbler
Blue-winged Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Indigo Bunting
Bobolink
Swainson's Thrush
Eastern Whip-poor-will
Solitary Sandpiper

Happy birding
Jon Ruddy
