On Sunday, May 11, afternoon, a Greater Yellowlegs was seen at Sobey's
pond--on the south side of the industrial roadway which parallels Victoria
St. west of the new Abilities Centre in Whitby.
About 20 peeps were noted feeding in the mud to the east of the Brock St. S
bridge north of Whitby Harbour--they were either White-rumped or
Semi-palmated Sandpipers. Without a scope it was difficult to be certain.
