Hi all. Sorry for the late posting. A week ago a friend e-mailed to ask about a large white bird with a very long curved bill. I e-mailed back asking for details & he replied just this morning.
It was seen the week of April 22 in a flooded field along Belgrave Rd (County Rd 20) north of Belgrave. I know after all this time it's a long shot but didn't see a posting from anyone else & thought it worth getting the word out for people to keep an eye open. The friend is not a birder but a reliable observer and very familiar with White Ibis in the Florida Keys where he & his family spend time every winter. Good luck Paul Paul D.
