Subject: [Ontbirds] Ross's Goose

The Ross's Goose verified by Ron Fleming late this afternoon along the Aurora
SR just west of Concession 8, outside Pottageville, has moved to the large
restoration pond on the east side of the Trisan Center (hockey arena) in
Schomberg. I observed it amongst 50+ Canada Geese, 12+ Buffleheads and two
Red-breasted Mergansers. I saw it at 8:20 pm, just before dusk.

The Trisan Center can be seen from Hwy 27 just south of Hwy 9. It is on the
east side of Hwy 27. Drive into the south side parking lot and drive to the
east end. The large restoration pond, and the bird, can be seen from there.
