Small numbers of exceptionally early shorebirds appeared on the south wetland 
of Kaiser Crossroad this week: 4 semi-palmated plover and 5 pectoral sandpipers.

DIRECTIONS: From Picton, take Bridge Street/Highway 33 towards Glenora Ferry. 
Just before the ferry (There will be a sign.) turn right on Lake on the 
Mountain Road/County Road 7. Proceed to Kaiser Crossroad and turn right. The 
shorebirds are on the second wetland on the left. The wetland is private 
property. Please observe the birds from the road.
