Spring migrants seen today during a short outing included 2 Fox Sparrows, a
few Song Sparrows, 1 Brown Creeper, a large number of GC Kinglets
(practically close enough to touch), and 1 E. Phoebe. These were seen by
walking south along the fence that borders the east side of the marina,
starting from the parking lot at the south end.

Once at the end of that fence, a look into the "inner bay" at the south end
of the marina produced many waterfowl including Redhead, Coot, A. Wigeon,
etc..plus two adult Iceland Gulls.

Directions: Ashbridge's Bay is at Lakeshore and Coxwell. From that
intersection, drive south on the winding road to the parking lot at the end.
The small trail that I described starts at the south end of the parking lot.
(If you have more time than I did today, it's well worth exploring the
entire peninsula on foot. A few years ago in the spring time, an Eared Grebe
was found in the open water off the south end).
