Today between 5:30 and 7:20 pm, the following were present in the flooded field 
to the south of West Dumfries Road:

Tundra Swan - estimated 250; possibly more
Snow Goose - 4 adults counted; no Ross' Goose
Greater Scaup -  7 drakes
Ring-neck Duck - 3 drakes
Canvasback - 2 drakes
Mallard - pair

A good scope and stable tripod were necessary for good views. The winds were 
strong and out of the west. 

Also, 

Northern Harrier - single bird flying low over field on north side of road
Rough-legged Hawk (dark morph) - single bird over the fields

Directions: 

>From the 401, follow Hwy 24 south of Cambridge, bearing right onto East River 
>Road. In the Village of Glen Morris, turn right onto Glen Morris Road and 
>follow to the next stop sign. Turn left onto Pinehurst Road. Alternatively, 
>follow Spragues Road south of Cambridge until it becomes Pinehurst Road. Once 
>past Pinehurst CA, turn left onto West Dumfries Road and continue eastward. 
>Pull off approx. midway to the first bend in the road. Flooded field 
>containing TUSW and SNGO is located midway between W Dumfries and Paris Plains 
>Church Roads.
