La Salle Park in Burlington. Yesterday afternoon (Feb 25) exceptional
numbers of:
174+ Trumpeter Swans (in pairs and family groups, with most tagged) with
8 Mute Swans
50+ White-winged Scoters
12 American Coots
To get to La Salle Park, exit Highway 403 at Waterdown Road South. Cross
Plains Road W. when the street continues as Lasalle Park Road, and go to
the end. Birds are around the pier and yacht club facilities.
