Hi Ontbirders:

Took a late day spin around the west end of Ottawa. The heavily barred Snowy
Owl was at the same location along Rushmore road between Old Richmond Road and
Eagleson.

Small flock of Pine Grosbeaks at corner of March Valley Road and Riddell.
Males and females in the flock.

The second Snowy Owl, a pretty much all white male was perched on top of a pole
right next to the road on Fallowfield road between Shea and Eagleson. Closer
to Shea. Right near the large stop sign alert. Corn field on one side of the
road and an old barn and farm structure across the road. This was at 5:25pm.
The best time to see this owl is after sunset as I drove by earlier and did not
see it on top of the pole. it is a bit on the skittish side. I will upload a
photo later. Follow link below my signature.

At 5:55pm a Great Gray Owl was perched on DND property on March Valley Road
just east of Klondike. It was very close to the road. Happy birding.
