Betsy Smith and I had a stunning flock of 70 Bohemian Waxwings on Sideline 24 southeast of Claremont this afternoon. The birds were perched on a high deciduous tree and coming down to a crab apple tree to feed.
Directions: The spot was on Sideline 24, southeast of Claremont(Durham) between Conc. 7 & 8. Conc. 7 is the first concession road north of Hwy 7.
