Hello OntBirders,

At 11:30 AM today (January 26) my wife and I saw the Townsend's Solitaire that
was first reported about 3 weeks ago on Langstaff Road. The bird was sitting
on a tall snag on the far side of a small ravine in front of the home with
green number 8666. We watched the bird for about 15 minutes during which it
flew to the evergreen (juniper?) beside the second floor balcony of the home.
When we left the bird had moved to the top of a tall evergreen back from the
left side of the house.

Directions: Exit Hwy 401 at Hwy 115/35, then exit 115/35 at the town of Kirby.
Drive east on Ganaraska Road about 8 km, then turn left (north) on Langstaff
Road. Drive past Ther-Tell Road to green number 8666 on the east side of
Langstaff Road.

Cheers,

Bryan Wyatt
