Today at 3 pm a 2nd winter Glaucous Gull was seen on the western breakwall in Whitby harbour and a Great Blue Heron was seen on the mudflats east of the bridge over Pringle creek on Brock street S in Whitby.
Directions: from 401 exit at Brock street in Whitby (exit 410) and go south to the harbour crossing over Pringle creek. Park at the harbour parking lot and walk out on the pier to so the breakwall across the channel.
