There were at least two Tufted Titmice in the Dufferin Islands nature reserve
today, along with a Winter Wren, a Carolina Wren and a Song Sparrow, plus
numerous cardinals, juncos etc. There are really a lot of birds packed into
this little park.
Between the control dam and the barge was a second-winter Lesser Black-backed
Gull. At Adam Beck there was a dark first winter Iceland Gull, an adult Iceland
Gull, and a third-winter Thayer's Gull - essentially adult but for a complete
brownish tail band. I couldn't pick out anything of interest at Queenston.
