A Great Gray Owl was observed as it perched on a utility wire at km 35.3 on Highway 60 at dusk today. This location is just east of the eastern end of Lake of Two Rivers. As I have noted previously, there is no guarantee that the bird will be present there tomorrow but it would be a good place to look.

Follow the signs which start in Toronto on Highway 400. >From Ottawa, take Highway 17 to Renfrew, then follow Highway 60 to the park. Kilometre markers along Highway 60 in the Park go from the West Gate (km 0) to near the East Gate (km 56).
