Betsy and I had at least three ROUGH-WINGED SWALLOWS over the Niagara River,
just off of the northeast corner of Goat Island, NY.  One bird also flew
over us when we are in the parking lot (the big one at the upstream end of
the island - I.e., away from the falls).  They were tending to fly over the
water and very close to the island.  This was between 8:30 and 9:15 this
Friday morning.  We never saw them near the Ontario side on this day but,
obviously, they could make their way over there.
