A harlequin duck was swimming close to the bank near the mouth of the Beaver
River this evening (Sunday). I've posted some photos on FaceBook:
http://www.facebook.com/michael.osmann.58?ref=tn_tnmn#!/media/set/?set=a.500187383347029.119184.100000673160824&type=1
Would have been a great photo op if it hadn't been so late in the day.
Directions: On Hwy 26 from Owen Sound or Collingwood to the traffic light in
Thornbury. Turn north to Georgian Bay and stay on the road closest to the
Beaver River. The duck was seen about halfway between the wooden foot bridge
and the mouth of the river.
