On Monday, 19NO12, between noon and 1:30 p.m., there were still about 50
Sandhill Cranes at Bannister Lake.
They were not in any hurry to move.
They were on the opposite side of the lake from the observation tower.
Bannister Lake is on 24A, north of Paris, at Wrigley Road, a short distance
from Ayr and Cambridge.

Good birding....

Subject: [Ontbirds] Sandhills cranes Bannister Lake near Ayr

60 Sandhill cranes in Bannister lake on 24A north of Paris and Wrigleys Rd
about noon hour today. I thought it was a bit late for them. But it was
wonderful to hear them all chortling away! Cathy
