Greetings Ontbirders,
As Barbara Charlton already indicated, the Hudsonian Godwit found by
Dave Milsom yesterday is still present this morning, along with a nice
group of Dunlin, both yellowlegs, Pectoral, Killdeer and snipe.
Just a quick clarification about the directions. The bird is best
seen from the eastern end of Price Street (as described in the
previous posts) but please note that the Presqu'ile Yacht Club is
private property and should not be entered or used as a viewpoint.
Instead, park 25 m east of their drive way at the dead end and walk
east along the mowed grass area to the point of land. From there look
north and the birds are feeding on the mudflat, which unfortunately is
nearly a kilometer away so a scope is essential here. This is the
only public viewpoint for this area.
Cheers,
Doug
