Ontbirders,
 
Today, Ross Snider and I watched two imm. dark-morph Broad-winged Hawks 
migrating together along the Lake Erie shoreline, at the end of Bieber Line, 
just off Highway 3 [Talbot Trail].
 
The fact that the birds were together and both 1st year birds suggest that they 
likely fledged from the same nest. Whatever the scenario, they are striking 
birds and a treat to see anywhere, anytime.
