Sunday afternoon (between 2:30 and 4:30 pm) we found a Willet amongst the dozen
species of shorebirds at Owen Point. The first-year Wilson's Phalarope
reported by Bill Gilmour was still there along with two Red Knots, one showing
some colour on its neck.

Directions: Presqu'ile Provincial Park is south of Brighton off Highway 401. A
map can be obtained at the fee station, upon entry into the park. The walking
trail to the beaches is immediately behind the general store, which is located
on the main road. The best place for shorebirds is Owen Point, presently
called Lookout #5.
