Greetings Ontbirders At Owen pt today there are at the moment a dozen species of shorebirds totaling roughly 200 to 300 individuals. The best of the lot being a juvenile Red Knot and Wilson's Phalarope.

Access to the offshore islands is restricted at this time of year to prevent disturbance to the colonial nesting birds there.
