In addition to the first of year species reported from Point Pelee National 
Park, the Holiday Beach Migration Observatory, in banding birds at Hillman 
Marsh Conservation Area, banded the following first of year species on 
Thursday, May 3, 2012: 
  
Eastern Towhee
"Traill's" Flycatcher
Swainson's Thrush
Philadelphia Vireo
  
Hillman Marsh Conservation Area is located at the intersection of Concession 
Road 19 and County Road 20 (Oak Street East) in the Town of Leamington, north 
of Point Pelee National Park and east of the Town of Leamington. 
  
Banding will take place every day for the remainder of this week. Visitor's are 
welcome.
