I walked the same route two days ago, and there was nothing in the way of new
migrants. Today was much better. Following are the species that, by my
observations, are newly arrived, including 11 species of warblers:

-1 Eastern Kingbird
-2 Blue-headed Vireos
-4 Warbling Vireos
-2 Nashville Warblers
-16 Yellow Warblers
-1 Chestnut-sided Warbler
-1 Black-throated Blue Warbler
-5 Black-throated Green Warblers
-2 Blackburnian Warblers
-2 Palm Warblers
-5 Black-and-white Warblers
-1 American Redstart
-1 Ovenbird
-1 Common Yellowthroat
-1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak
-3 Baltimore Orioles

These birds were recorded over the course of a 2 hour 45 minute walk through a
mixture of forest, forest edge and scrub habitat along Morningside Creek and
Sewell's Road.
