At 1:20 this afternoon, Karen and I saw a male Scarlet Tanager on the Chinquapin trail at Point Pelee. We saw the bird just before the seasonal trail that circles the big pond on the Tilden Trail.
Other noteworthy birds were the male Hooded Warbler seen by others at the Sparrow Field, Blue-grey Gnatcatchers, and a Blue-headed Vireo on the Tilden Trail. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
