Hello, This morning at around 8:00 a.m. at Hillman Marsh Sylvain Cote and I heard a NORTHERN BOBWHITE in the brush on the east side of the shorebird cell where the path in from the parking lot arrives at the mudflats. It sounded very close to us off to the right (north) as we faced the shorebird cell. There is a row of tall yellowed grass there in front of the row of trees and two hydro poles, which is where the call seemed to come from. We did not attempt to flush it. It seemed to be near the second hydro pole. Dwayne Murphy arrived on the scene about 20 minutes later and also witnessed the call, though it sounded farther away by then.
