Ontbirders,

Saw what could be a melanistic tree swallow this afternoon around 5:00pm 
atColonel Sam smith park. The bird was flying back and forth between the small 
pond and the easternmost bay. 
There were a few tree swallows also present and the mystery bird was the same 
size and shape as well as flight pattern.

Directions: To get to Col. Sam Smith Park, take Kipling Ave. south from the QEW 
and continue south of Lakeshore Blvd. and park in the southernmost parking lot.
