Bernie Ladoucer, Bob Cermak and I have studied this bird and are confident it is Long billed. This is a first spring record of this sp. For Ottawa and record early for any Dowitcher. The bird is 400 m distant from the road on the west side of Frank Kenny south of the bridge at the gravel pull out. Originally found on the 21st
