10 minutes ago just coming back from a meeting in Newmarket I observed a
flock of White winged crossbills (12-15) fly low across Bathurst Street from some heavily wooded backyards with coniferous trees on the south side (in Aurora) to some roadside Spruce trees (heavily coned) on the north at the intersection of
Kennedy Street. I pulled over and was watching them for several minutes when
a Cooper's Hawk few low across Bathurst towards them. They quickly flew off.
