In only four hours of birding Rory MacKay and I observed 12 Snowy Owls on
Wolfe Island, most within a few kilometres from the junction of Highway 95
and Baseline Road. Many were adults, with two immaculate males present. A
light morph Rough-legged Hawk began calling and then attacked one of the
owls, chasing it across a field. Approximately 15 Northern Harriers, 15
Red-tailed Hawks, 12 Rough-legged Hawks, and 4 American Kestrels were
present in the same general area.

Good birding!
