Apologies for the late posting, but late yesterday afternoon (March 17) finishing up a great day of birding the Long Point area as part of a Kitchener-Waterloo Field Naturalists Club outing we easily found the male Eurasian Wigeon at Townsend Sewage Lagoons found earlier this week by Ken Burrell. This bird was present in the southwest cell of the lagoons. Lots of other waterfowl were present, here's a link to the full eBird checklist if you're interested: http://ebird.org/ebird/canada/view/checklist?subID=S10198359
Directions: From Simcoe go east on Hwy 3 to Kieth Richardson Parkway and turn north (towards the Townsend). Take the first left (west) onto Concession 14 and the lagoons are on the right, just under a kilometre.
