In a private pond about 2 kms South of Blackstock, I spotted 2 RING-NECKED DUCKS swimming with 6 HOODED MERGANSERS. The ring necks are a first for me.
Directions: Blackstock is a located at the corner of Durham Road 57 and Highway 7A. Drive South, about 2 kms, on Old Scugog Road. The private pond is on the West side of the road. You can get a good view from the roadside.
