Hi Ontbirders; Two Greater White-fronted Geese at the Kincardine Sewage Lagoons March 11th. One of the White fronted was being accosted by a Canada and I could see the difference in size and hear the different honk. Kincardine Lagoons is tricky to scope now with the new prison style fence and these birds were way out on the berm that divides the two ponds. Cheers James
Directions; Kincardine is on highway 21 where highway 9 starts. The sewage lagoons can be accessed from multipul parking areas. From highway 21 just south of Kincardine turn west on Sarratoga road drive to the rail trail and park. It is a short hike to the lagoon. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
