Hello Ontbirders,
This morning at 9:20 I saw a Northern Mockingbird near the corner of rue Bourque and rue Labelle in the Hull sector of Gatineau. It flew in from the southeast to shrubs in front of the two houses on Bourque nearest the northwest corner and appeared to be moving westward. Directions: from Ottawa cross the Ottawa River on the Champlain Bridge at the north end of Island Park Drive (which has an exit from the Queensway hwy 417 if you are westbound only). Upon crossing into Quebec, turn right on boul. Taché then left on the Gatineau Parkway. At boul. Gamelin turn right and then right on Labelle. The first cross-street is Bourque. (If you are wondering why I cc'd you, it's because I was not subscribed to Ontbirds where I am now but had your email address handy and didn't know how long it would take for the message to be posted.) Good birding! Bev McBride Ottawa _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
