This morning at Bronte Harbour we found two Snowy Owls. One was on C dock and the other on the main breakwater near a light. The light was best from the pier walkway. The hybrid duck Redhead X Ring-necked Duck was visible from the mainland at the east side of the Outer Harbour Marina. The light was poor for photography. A Pied-billed Grebe was also present.
Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Rd. (Oakville) and go to the lake. By public transport Oakville Transit route 2 from the Bronte GO Station and route 14 from the Oakville GO Station serve the area.
