Our local juvenile sharpie spent 10 minutes bathing in the creek this morning. It seemed to be having great fun splashing and shaking its feathers before flying up to sit in a tree to sun itself. We see this bird once or twice a day as it checks out our bird feeders but I have never noticed this behaviour before.
