White-winged Crossbills continued to move through my property today. After the early morning appearance of four birds (see previous post), about 75 more passed through in 5 different flocks between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and then again between 2:00 - 2:15 p.m. None seemed to be feeding, but many were in full song, interspersed with their flight calls. Several landed in tamaracks and poplars in the yard then flew off to the south after a period of several minutes.
