This afternoon, Steve Eastman, Joel Nordenstrom, & I found three Snowy Owls (two darker & one almost pure white) in the area bounded by Concession 20, Concession 19, & Ste-Rose, east of Casselman. Also saw a handful of Snow Buntings. Alas, no Varied Thrush near Limoges.
Happy birding year! Roger Clark (Ottawa) Directions (courtesy Bob Boisvert): To get there from Ottawa, go east towards Montreal, exit 58 north, Turn right onto Concession road 20 Turn left onto Ste-Rose.
