Ontbirders,

For the winter listers, there was a Vesper Sparrow along Queen Street East,
just east of Beachville today.  The bird was feeding along the road edge, just
past the slight s bend, near the entrance to the Thames Trail. This species is
ridiculously rare in winter for Oxford Co., with this my 1st ever in January.

Also along this stretch [feeding on Hackberry] were Northern Mockingbird,
Eastern Bluebird, numerous Cedar Waxwing and Am. Robin.

Directions - from Beachville Road, take Zorra Line north .5 km, turn right
[east] onto Queen St. E., proceed .75 km to the slight bend. Note - although
called a street, this stretch of road is gravel and known as ''Skyview Drive''
by the locals.
