This afternoon, a small group of us (Andrew Keaveney, Ben Vaughan, Krista
Mandula, Sarah Riley and I) searched for the Black-throated Gray previously
reported from Bayfront Park and along the railway tracks where the bird had
apparently moved.

We were unable to find the bird in just over 2 hours of searching, and we also
missed the reported Gnatcatchers and other warblers, but we did manage some
other nice winter birds including:

Great black-backed Gull- 4
Ruddy Duck- 200+
Greater Scaup- 2
Lesser Scaup-1
Ring-necked Duck- 10+ -
Carolina Wren-2
Winter Wren-1
Trumpeter Swan-1
Common Merganser-200
Bufflehead -10

A probable Thayer`s Gull was out on the ice with a large roost of Gulls as well.

Best in birding,
