I was likely one of the last to view this wonderful bird late this afternoon.
As of approx. 4:50 PM the bird was still present in the cornfield on the North side of Conc.1, approx. 150yds west of the Long Lane Orchards Sign (which is on the south side of the road). The bird was very active, landing on corn stalks, bushes, low trees, wires all within 50 ft of the road. The bird appeared to be seeking a place to roost for the night, and most likely will be there tomorrow. Larry Directions as per Paul Kron's original post. Puslinch Concession 1: Go south on Hwy 6 (south of Hwy 401) past Morriston. Concession One meets Hwy 6 just south of Leslie Rd West and just north of the boundary of Puslinch and Flamborough townships. Travel west on Conc 1 about 1.5 km, until you see the large signs for Long Lane Farm at the end of a farm lane. The bird was seen on the wooden fence, wires and trees along Conc 1 immediately west of this laneway.
