Further to Cheryl's query in the weekly Hamilton report, the Fox Sparrow I saw during the CBC on Boxing Day was in the bushes beside the Hamilton Region Conservation Authority workshop on Mineral Springs Road in Ancaster. (I don't know where the other Boxing Day Fox Sparrow was.)
Directions: Take the Fiddler's Green rd. exit from westbound Hwy. 403, follow Fiddlers Green north (i.e. don't go back over 403) to a T-intersection at Jerseyville Rd., go right 50m on Jerseyville then left on Lovers Lane. Follow Lovers Lane north and downhill as it joins and becomes Sulphur Springs Rd. At the bottom of the hill (look for power lines crossing) instead of following Sulphur Springs Rd. as it turns right continue straight ahead onto Mineral Springs Rd. for about 1km. The HRCA workshop entrance is on the left (more power lines). If you reach the entrance to the HRCA headquarters, turn and go back one driveway. Remember that there are parking fees if you decide to look around the trails.
