The Brant was still feeding with the Canada Geese on the lawn in Spencer Smith
Park at 11:00am. Usually I see Brants from a distance so this was a real treat.
It was feeding on the lawn nearest to the intersection of Maple and Lakeshore
in Burlington as Graham Wood described.
Just before that we had been at La Salle Marine and had 4 White-Winged Scoters
right off the dock.
On the way back on number 6 Hwy before (south) the 401 by house #4132 we also
seen a Common Raven which surprised me as I usually see them up north at my
Dad"s. the wedged tail, size , it was alone, and it's flight was different from
all the Crows we were seeing.
