Just returned from seeing the Spotted Sandpiper at Lakeside Park. The bird was present in the corner near the Pier behind the fence area at the east side of the park. It disappeared into the corner shortly after I saw it and did not emerge but I am sure it would come out at some point. You might have to wait. Bins were fine, a scope would be helpful.
Cheers, Cheryl Edgecombe Directions to the Spotted Sandpiper. Go to Lakeside Park on Lakeshore Road between Winston Churchill and Southdown in Mississauga. Park in the Lease-free Zone and walk east to the fenced limits of the park with the Suncor Refinery. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
