Hello all, On Dec 20 I observed a bird and posted here. I have been advised that it was NOT a CURLEW SANDPIPER, but a DUNLIN with reasonable certainty (as everyone expected.) My appologies for one of those newbie first posts we always laugh about (except me....this time!) I have become aware of the affect that a report like this can have on others who drive to the sighting and have learned an important lesson. I will ask for advice next time in circumstances of questionable ID.
Here are some photos, however: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150425398641245.351986.585991244&type=1&l=266cef31fd Cheers Keith _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
