I was driving to work and spotted a large raptor perched on a lot on the
north side of Stoufville Rd, immediately west of the 404. I pulled over
and took a closer look but couldn't see its tail to confirm the bird. I'm
guessing, based on its grey head and wings and lack of chest markings, that
its a male northern harrier.
I saw something at the same area yesterday as well but didn't pull over. It
may be using that lot/house as a hunting area for the winter.

Look for a house on the north side that's selling Christmas trees. This
morning, at 8:50 AM, it was sitting on the tall trees that ring the large
lot.
