24 Bruce Birding Club members found 31 species of birds in the Kincardine area today. The highlight being a 1st winter Franklin's Gull at the Kincardine harbor. The Franklin's pleased the audience with several flybys and eventually alighting right in front of us all. Meanwhile all over the harbor Bonaparte's were busy picking pinheads from the water. The Franklin's was found yesterday by myself and Liz Addison and expertly identified from a photo sent to Alan Wormington. Pictures of the Franklin's can be seen at https://sites.google.com/site/brucebirdingclub/photos/franklin-s-gull Happy Birding James Turland
Directions; Kincardine is on the shore of lake Huron where highways 9 and 21 meet.
